Safari Bahia Magdalena: The Wildest Safari
A unique spectacle of marine life, where thousands of sardines attract the most impressive predators in the ocean.
What is the Sardine Run?
Every year, during the months of November and December, one of nature's wildest phenomena takes place. An event as brief as it is powerful, where the waters of Bahia Magdalena become the epicenter of marine wildlife: thousands of sardines migrate in enormous schools, attracting apex predators such as marlins, dorado fish, sea lions, and even whales.
This natural event is not only visually stunning. It is a living lesson about the balance of the ocean and the power of nature in its rawest state. And now you can witness it from the inside.
Massive Migration
Thousands of sardines form gigantic schools that move as a single entity through the waters.
Feeding Frenzy
Predators take advantage of this abundance in a spectacle of coordinated and fierce hunting.
Unique Experience
A phenomenon that only occurs two months a year and that few have the opportunity to witness.
The Keabelmet experience
It's not a tour. It's a must for ocean lovers. You'll set sail toward the deep blue from one of the most pristine points on the peninsula, on a safari guided by marine biologists with years of experience, and you'll be part of one of the most intense spectacles of the Mexican Pacific.
You'll dive in (if conditions allow) to the heart of the action, floating over an ecosystem in motion, where every second can change everything.

The stars of the show. They form massive schools that can stretch for kilometers, creating a "bait ball" that attracts all predators.

Striped Marlin
Fast and lethal, striped marlins are the most spectacular hunters. Their speed and agility make them the kings of the run.

Sea Lions
Agile and coordinated, sea lions hunt in groups, leveraging their underwater speed to catch sardines.

Dorado
Known for their brilliant golden coloring, these fish are opportunistic hunters that take advantage of the feeding frenzy.

Humpback Whales
The giants of the ocean take advantage of the abundance of sardines to feed before continuing their migration.

Bryde's Whales
Residents of the Mexican Pacific, these whales are experts at taking advantage of sardine aggregations to feed.
